"When I first started my sessions with Dr Comer, I was mentally in a place that scared me. I had recently left military training due to mental health issues and found little enjoyment in anything. In our first session, I found it very difficult to open up at first because I didn’t want to burden anyone with my issues. However, Dr Comer was patient, listened and asked questions that were simple and encouraged me to open up and reflect on what the real issues were. "I reached out following a significant challenge in my life and wanted to prevent myself from hitting rock bottom. Theresa was fantastic - she assessed me and we decided that schema therapy would be best for my needs. I attended weekly sessions initially.
